Kimberly "imber" Anakata's background is in Quantum Optics and the manufacturing of MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) as well as hybrid and macro systems. Quality Management and Continual Improvement rock her socks. imber's educational background is in optical medical imaging. After completing her MSEE in Quantum Optics, imber accepted full-time employment with Comcast Cable. At the equivalent of the NOC, Comcast's LMC provided extensive experience with hybrid coax/fiber network engineering which translated directly to her time at Glimmerglass as the only Optical MEMS Engineer for the 192x192 all optical MEMS network switch. Joy is found in guiding yield to get better and better while Technicians watch their Work Instructions become streamlined and adapted to their skills, as well as their strengths. Anakata is a soup-to-nuts Engineer with vast experience in communicating manufacturing specifications and optimizing yield with Vendors. Let's build something!
